The need this year is more than ever and we are hoping for a great outpouring of Holy Redeemer love and kindness. Here are details as you prepare for the coming of Christ during this year's Advent:
For years, The Giving Tree has been a way for parishioners to help the less fortunate in our community have a better Christmas. The need this year is more than ever and we are hoping for a great outpouring of Holy Redeemer love and kindness. Here are details as you prepare for the coming of Christ during this year's Advent:
- · The Giving tree will be set up in the Narthex Saturday, Nov. 30 with angel ornaments containing the age, gender, and clothing size.
- · A sign-in book will be located next to the tree for you to sign your name and phone number next to the number on the angel so we can contact you if necessary.
- · Take as many angels as you would like.
- · Purchase a gift or gifts totaling approximately $25-$30 for each angel.
- · Tape the Angel to the bottom of the wrapped package before returning it so we know where to deliver the gift
- · Place wrapped gifts under the tree in the Narthex by Sunday, Dec. 15
- · Just as a reminder: most families have more than one child and if one gift is significantly more or less expensive than another it could cause some hurt feelings. Please stay as close to the $25-$30 as possible.
