What is Flocknote?

Flocknote enables our parish family to connect instantly and communicate more efficiently and effectively. Flocknote provides a simpler, smarter way to text message and email individual parishioners and entire groups, and we hope using Flocknote will help us improve engagement, increase mass and event attendance, promote stewardship, and build more opportunities to connect across our parish family. Why does our parish need this?

Improving our communications a strategic area of focus in our Parish Strategic Plan, and we believe Flocknote will help us achieve this goal by allowing us to communicate more easily and effectively. Using Flocknote allows us to easily connect through email and text message (depending on your preference) so you have the important information you need, and gives you the ability to provide feedback to our parish leaders so we can continue to improve and grow as a parish family.  

Am I "in it for good" if I sign up?

Flocknote participation is optional but highly encouraged by our parish leadership. The nice thing about this excellent service is that it's always free for you to use, and you may unsubscribe at any time. Flocknote also allows you to adjust your communication preferences and choose which parish groups you participate in so you only receive communications about news and events you want to hear about. 

Is my information secure?

Absolutely. All of your data is transmitted across an encrypted internet connection, and all of your personal information is stored in secure databases. Your information is never (ever!) sold, rented or given away to any third-parties. Find more info about data security and privacy at flocknote.com/privacy.

What if I don't have texting?

You can still sign up! As long as you have an email address, our parish Flocknote has a unique link on the internet that you can use to sign up. Just enter your name and your email address, and you can still receive all messages sent out by your church. If you do have texting, but don't want text to be your primary contact, you can adjust your communication preferences in the Flocknote platform to make email you preferred channel for receiving information sent through the Flocknote platform.
