I hope that this letter finds you well. Taking yet another step forward, as had been announced earlier, we are opening the parish buildings to meetings and gatherings starting Tuesday, June 30 and the parish office will be open to the public starting Monday, July 6. To this end there are several measures we are putting in place to keep us all safe:
Regarding the opening of parish buildings for meetings and gatherings:
Regarding the opening of the parish office to the public:
As with Mass and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in the church, if you or anyone with whom you have been in contact are diagnosed with COVID-19 or have symptoms of COVID-19, please do not enter the parish office or buildings.
We are looking forward to again being able to gather in groups at the parish. As always, your understanding, patience and prayers are certainly appreciated as we navigate these unusual times.

I hope that this letter finds you well. Taking yet another step forward, as had been announced earlier, we are opening the parish buildings to meetings and gatherings starting Tuesday, June 30 and the parish office will be open to the public starting Monday, July 6. This follows guidance from the Diocese of Evansville. It is certainly a welcome change, but the safety of our parishioners and our staff remains a top priority .
To this end there are several measures we are putting in place to keep us all safe:
Regarding the opening of parish buildings for meetings and gatherings:
- Social distancing measures will continue including the strong encouragement to wear a face covering, maintaining six foot spacing between individuals as well as the encouragement of good hand hygiene by use of hand sanitizer.
- When calling the Parish Office to schedule a meeting, please have an idea of the approximate number that will be attending. Each room will have a maximum occupancy and seating arrangement in order to accommodate the social distancing measures. We ask that you maintain the room’s seating arrangement.
- Please enter and exit the main parish building using the 4th Ave parking lot doors into the rotunda (round room).
- To help our janitorial staff, we ask the group that is meeting to sanitize the room following its use. Gloves, sanitizing materials and instructions will be provided by the parish.
Regarding the opening of the parish office to the public:
- Office hours will resume from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday
- Please use the Parish Center entrance (behind the St. Francis statue) off of Mill Rd.
- The Parish Office staff will be practicing safe social distancing including wearing face coverings, maintaining a six foot space between individuals and using hand sanitizer for your safety. Please consider doing the same for them.
- We are looking forward to being open to serve as well as see you. Please kindly consider if a phone call or email to the parish office can accomplish your task just as easily.
As with Mass and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in the church, if you or anyone with whom you have been in contact are diagnosed with COVID-19 or have symptoms of COVID-19, please do not enter the parish office or buildings.
