2007 PARISH MISSION

Every other year, the Spiritual Life & Worship commission of Holy Redeemer parish plans a Parish Mission. It is a time out of our normal daily routine to hear a presenter speak about our faith. It is a call back to the basics to ground us again in our faith.

This year we had Fr. Denis Robinson as our Parish Mission presenter. Fr. Denis Robinson, O.S.B. is monk of Saint Meinrad Archabbey. He brings depth of knowledge and his Southern storytelling skill to paint a rich and colorful portrait of his own family. In his presentations, we come to laugh and find that much of his family's journey is ours as well.

The following audio files represent Fr. Denis' presentations on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. Unfortunately, we did not record his Sunday evening presentation. The Mission usually starts with the presenter giving the homily for the weekend. We have included it as well. Please use these presentations as a chance to laugh and refresh your spirit as well as your dedication to growth in your faith.

Each presentation begins with the song "Jerusalem My Destiny" which was the theme for the Mission. There is a closing song as well to each evening.
